I have been breeding dogs for over forty years, am a licensed CKC All Breed Conformation Judge, a past Board Member for the Canadian Kennel Club and very involved in the sport of Agility for the last 15 years.
I have known many Veterinarians over these years and have never dealt with anyone previously who cared about the "whole" dog both physically and mentally before I met Dr Veronica Devall. The last two years seeing Dr Devall has been a tremendous support for my dogs - some aging with less common breed specific disease and others with the various injuries or stresses of performance dogs. I believe the treatments she provides - acupuncture, chiropractic, laser, support of Chinese herbs and tonics together with her use of traditional pharmaceuticals when necessary and a very progressive approach to pain management - has allowed my Cavaliers to have a great quality of life while dealing with several serious diseases (cancer, syringomyelia, mitral valve disease/congestive heart failure). Her compassionate soft touch with these kind and gentle little dogs is second to none. I respect her knowledge and I do not hesitate to recommend her. Wendy Maisey |
Thank goodness for Dr. Veronica Devall! Without her our little dog would not be running and playing and living the active happy lifestyle she loves so much. Six years ago I adopted a little puppy, a stray Husky cross who had to have her back leg totally rebuilt because she had been hit by a car and then abandoned. Veronica designed a rehabilitation program that included physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and laser therapy. She even helped us with Chinese herbs and nutritional suggestions but most important of all, she gave our dog tender care and gave us lots of encouragement and advice. We continue to see Veronica several times a year just to make sure that our little girl is staying in balance and pain free. Over the years, I have seen pure breeds, and mutts, and old dogs, and top dog athletes going into Veronica’s room at the vet and all of them enter wagging their tails and happy to see their Dr. Veronica. If you want an honest from-the-heart recommendation, look at the dogs, they know who to trust and who is helping them.
